Finding Pubs and Cafes Along Your Route
Simply load your GPX route and select the POI categories you're interested in - Pubs, Cafes, Restaurants, or all three. PitStopper will show you every option along your route, with useful details like:
- Distance from the start of your route
- Estimated arrival time (if you've set your start time)
- How far off the route each establishment is
This makes it easy to plan sensible refreshment stops and know exactly when you'll arrive - handy for checking opening hours!
UK Food Hygiene Ratings
For those planning routes in the UK, we've added a feature to help you make informed decisions about where to stop. PitStopper can now fetch Food Standards Agency hygiene ratings for pubs, cafes, and restaurants.
Click the "Get Food Rating" button on any food establishment to fetch its hygiene rating. You can also click "All" to batch-fetch ratings for every pub, cafe, and restaurant in your list.
Ratings are displayed with a colour-coded badge (5 is green for excellent) along with the inspection date, so you know how recent the rating is.
