- Queries third-party services (OpenStreetMap, elevation APIs, etc.) for POI and map data
- Does not require user registration or accounts
- Is provided free of charge
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its connected systems
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service to transmit malware or malicious code
4. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party APIs and data sources, including but not limited to:
- OpenStreetMap and Overpass API for POI data
- Various map tile providers (ESRI, Thunderforest, OpenTopoMap, etc.)
- Elevation data APIs
- Geocoding services
Your use of these third-party services through PitStopper.net is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content provided by these third-party services.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Important Notice
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
PitStopper.net provides route planning and POI discovery for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information displayed
- That POI locations are correct or that businesses are still operating
- That the Service will be available without interruption
- That the Service will meet your specific requirements
Map and POI data are provided by third parties (primarily OpenStreetMap). We display this data but do not verify or maintain it.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PitStopper.net and its operator shall not be liable for any:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
- Loss or damage arising from reliance on any information obtained through the Service

Always verify route details, POI locations, opening hours, and available services before relying on them. Exercise caution and good judgment when planning trips and visiting locations.
7. Intellectual Property
The PitStopper.net website, including its design, code, and original content, is the property of its creator. However:
- Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL)
- POI data is sourced from OpenStreetMap and is similarly licensed
- Third-party libraries used are subject to their respective licenses
You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service's code without permission, except as permitted by applicable open-source licenses.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. This includes the right to block IP addresses or user agents that abuse the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
