Click a point for its card. Drag a box to select points, then star, flag, delete or zoom to them. Double-click resets the zoom.

The POI cache stores previously searched POI categories to improve performance. If you're not finding expected POIs, try clearing the cache to force a fresh search.
Elevation data is cached to reduce API calls when the same POI locations are searched again.
PitStopper keeps your saved projects and the POI cache in your browser's IndexedDB database, and your preferences and smaller caches in localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Clear a cache to free space, reset just your settings, or wipe everything. (App behaviour toggles live under Settings → Preferences.)

Hide the elevation chart for faster loading on large routes (distances and exports always use full data)
Shade each part of the elevation chart by how steep it is, so the hard sections stand out. Road hazards keep their own colour.

On out-and-back routes, show each time you pass a POI with its own distance (a café at 20 km out is also at 80 km on the way back)
Quietly fetch all categories along the route a few seconds after it loads, so category ticks and radius changes are instant
On export, warn about waypoints further than this from the track. Garmin Connect discards waypoints beyond ~40m.
The health and speed of the servers answering your POI searches - ours first, then the public PostGIS instance behind them. A server with 3 consecutive failures is marked unwell for 5 minutes.

Enter an OpenStreetMap element URL or ID to check if it should appear in your POI search results. This tool will analyze the element's tags, calculate its distance from your route, and explain why it may or may not be appearing.

When you delete this POI, it won't appear in future searches even if you search for the same category again. This helps keep your map clean.
